Gear: There is so much gear out there for kiteboarding, winging, para winging, SUP’ing, foiling, downwind foiling, e-foiling… and the list continues to grow. How can someone wanting to get into any of these sports figure it all out?

Environment: Even if you have all the right gear (or should we say, gear that will work) – who knows what the wind or weather will be like?

A very small percentage of people would be able to figure this out on their own safely, it’s impossible, it’s improbably.

For those new to wind powered sports and who have never actually participated or taken lessons and who like to read, study, compare, chart, and graph excessively until they understand everything – we say stop. Even if you come to a point where you feel comfortable with your plan and choices, there is a really good chance it’s not going to be the best.
