ATM / CASH
There are several private ATMs (Cajero) in the area. There are two working that we know of. One is at the Delegation Offices in Los Planes. This is a BANK ATM (BBVA). The other is at Oscaritos in El Sargento. This is a PRIVATE ATM. The different between the two is the service fees and exchange rates. BANK ATMs are almost always better. Helpful hint. Decline the ATM exchange rate when possible, the transaction will continue using your bankcards rate. It will save you a few pesos.
